How to: Use HyperTerminal.
Solution:
Double-click the 'Hypertrm' icon after selecting the 'HyperTerminal' folder from the 'Accessories' menu.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Programs' and select 'Accessories'.
3) Select 'HyperTerminal'. (The 'HyperTerminal' window appears.)
4) Double-click the 'Hypertrm' icon. (The 'Connection Description' dialog box appears.)

NOTE: Depending on the Windows 95 setup, the 'Hypertrm' icon may be renamed 'Hypertrm.exe'.
5) Type the name of the new connection in the 'Name' box.
6) Select an icon from the 'Icon' list box.
7) Click 'OK'. (The 'Phone Number' dialog box appears.)
8) If needed, select the country to call from the 'Country code' drop-down list.
9) If needed, type a new area code in the 'Area code' box.
10) Type the phone number to dial in the 'Phone number' box.
11) (Optional) Select your modem from the 'Connect using' drop-down list.
12) Click 'OK'. (The 'Connect' dialog box appears.)
13) Click 'Dial'. (The number is dialed.)
14) (Optional) To save the connection:
a) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Save as...'. (The 'Save As...' dialog box appears.)
b) Select the folder in which to save the connection and click 'Open'.
c) Type the name for connection in the 'File name' box and click 'Save'.
